To earn the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, every REALTOR® must have significant experience and volume of real estate transactions (in John’s case, he has hundreds and hundreds of millions of closed transactions). Only 5% of all realtors meet the CRS criteria. To help make the home buying and selling process more rewarding, every CRS designee must have a proven track record in the business, as well as advanced education in related areas like finance, technology and marketing. Every CRS designee is required to maintain membership in the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and to abide by its strict Code of Ethics.
John Goodell holds the prestigious ABR designation: Accredited Buyer’s Representative. Many buyers come to Team Goodell for assistance in finding a home because of the services offered by an ABR. A prestigious designation, the Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) is especially important to senior buyers and sellers. REALTORS® with the SRES designation help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property for retirement income, or managing the capital gains and tax implications of owning real estate. By earning the SRES designation, a REALTOR® has demonstrated that he has the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to be a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and counselor.
REALTORS® who have earned the National Association of REALTORS® Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification have received additional education and training in how to meet the needs of both distressed property owners and distressed property buyers. In both cases, there are many pitfalls that a SFR certified REALTOR®, such as John Goodell, may be able to help you avoid. In fact, to properly service his distressed property clients, John has a special assistant who is dedicated to Short Sales.
